oUTCOMES

Student compositions generally showed considerable growth in quality compared to the first efforts after peer feedback with rubrics and checklists. Students had an increased awareness of form and the choices a composer makes when creating music. There was increased note fluency as a result of composing. Peer editing improved the ability to give and receive criticism, as well as composition skills for both the composer and editor.
