Dress Rehearsal and Performance/Sharing

In the Dress Rehearsal, the group tableaus are sequenced chronologically based on the Civil Rights timeline. The groups run-through the sequence giving particular attention to cues and staging. All groups receive notes from the teacher which are recorded by the directors and final revisions occur. At the end of the performance, the directors and actors discuss their process with an invited audience.

After the performance and talk-back, students reflect on the creative process of developing and performing the work. They also discuss the feedback and technology strategies that were used. Each group engages in a feedback discussion of their performance.
