Students will be randomly assigned another student’s work and references and will need to answer questions about the work that will be provided by the instructor. Using the peer feedback, students will modify their work.
After a few weeks of drying and working on another project, students caulk the cracks that have emerged. In the final two sessions, students paint the sculptures using paint with metal embedded in it. During the following class, a second coat of metallic paint is added along with a final coat of reactive chemical will be painted onto the paint to patina and rust the sculpture.
